Three Months Old!

My little lovebug is 3 months old! Even though this is my fourth time, I can never believe how fast it goes. Sawyer is such a sweet little guy, we are so blessed to have him!

Missoula Children's Theater

Two weeks ago, Spencer and Avilee brought home a flier from school about the Missoula Children's Theater coming to Lyman and holding auditions for The Secret Garden. Both kids were really interested and excited to try out for the play. Last Monday, they participated in a two hour group audition and both got a part in the play!

This is at the audition, the two adults on the stage are the workers from Missoula. They were strict, but really great with the kids.

Mason, Matt, Sawyer, and my Dad and Mom at the performance!

Spencer and Avilee were both Canadian Geese in the show. They had speaking parts, and they sang multiple songs!

There was no flash photography allowed, so I wasn't able to get the best pictures, and no motion shots, but I did my best!

The end was my favorite part where the entire cast was singing together!

Love it...

Here is my buddy who watched a lot of the show with me from the hallway :)

Take a bow!

Here is the Missoula Children's Theater website. It was a really fun experience! http://www.mctinc.org/index.aspx

Super Saturday

I love Super Saturday. Spending time with women making crafts is so much fun, and this year was even better because my parents were in town so my mom was able to come too! I also had Mason and Sawyer tagged along as well, although you would never have known Sawyer was there because he slept through the whole thing.

My mom getting crafty...

Mason was my great helper. He did a good amount of painting!

Me trying to give a scarecrow a haircut...It was really chilly in the church, I had my coat on the whole time!

The finished products!

It was a really fun day!

Sheepdog Trials

This weekend the kids and I went to watch a sheepdog trial just outside of Lyman. It was lots of fun to watch the dogs work and we could hardly believe how smart they were. We were able to drive our vehicle right up to where all the action was, we were lucky enough to listen to the handler's commands while they were working, and we were able to tell them "Great job!" when they finished.

Our favorite part was when the dogs would separate the sheep. Some had collars and one had a black face. Towards the end of the pattern, the dogs would cut the black face ewe from the others, and then separate them into groups of who had collars and who did not. There were also times when the dog was so far away, we could barely see it, but it would still be responding to the handler's whistles. Very impressive!

We also enjoyed watching the other dogs watch the trials. The ones who were not competing at the moment were still totally interested. They were great fans!

Spencer spent most of the time completely enthralled with an ant hill. He even fed the ants some of our snacks.
