Children's Museum

When I was planning our trip to Laramie, I decided it would be fun to take the kids to a couple of our favorite attractions in Denver, and even better to meet up with my girlfriends from high school and their kids! So we drove to Denver, stopping along the way in Fort Collins to pick up my friend Gelsey and one of her sons, and then we made our way to our first stop, The Children's Museum!

The Children's Museum has lots of fun exhibits. We painted, experimented with rockets and air pressure, played with giant bubbles, made creations in a real workshop, shopped in a grocery store, and played in the trunk of a tree! It was so much fun, the kids hardly wanted to move from one area to the next! Spencer and Avilee had the most fun in the workshop and tree trunk. Mason liked shooting rockets and making bubbles, and Sawyer mostly just looked at Mommy :)

After the museum, we met up with Shena and Natasha and Natasha's kids for lunch at P.F. Changs. It was an interesting sight, but it was fun!

It was so nice to catch up with Shena and Natasha. We talk often, but I haven't seen them since our High School reunion. Natasha's baby has grown into a toddler since then and a new baby has joined their family! I was really happy to see them.
